Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Pittsburgh. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Pennsylvania are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 AMβ5 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Prestogeorge Coffee & Tea at (412) 471-0133; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Simply one of the best places to buy freshly roasted coffee. There are many excellent coffee roasters but none are better than Prestogeorge, in my opinion. The staff are very knowledgeable and patient with questions. Itβs definitely worth the trip to the strip district to buy here. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. And donβt forget the biscotti.

My favorite coffee beans in Pittsburgh by far, I have ordered it from them for years, not only personally, but for my offices. Itβs the only place that Iβll actually get flavored coffee beans. I often order the holiday blend once every couple months. It is a truly unique blend. My favorite blend is the Cuban blend. I donβt order as much because it can cause problems with a burr grinder due to the oils. I find their black and gold plan to be a favorite among friends and guest I serve.

Just love their coffee and teas! Huge selection and the friendly staff is knowledgeable about their products. Tell them what you like, or what u want to try, and they'll recommend a great coffee or tea you'll be glad you purchased. It's a little trip for me, but worth it.

Going to Prestogeorge every time we visited the Strip District was an absolute must!! Their coffee is top notch and they have unbeatable prices. The staff is knowledgeable, and they always take the time to answer any questions or give recommendations, even if they are extremely busy. They just have that way of making you feel important, like family. However, the downside is that their coffee is so amazing, other brands and shops don't live up to their quality, so we now order ALL of our coffee from them YEAR round. You don't even have to go in person! Sometimes we place an order online, but primarily, we call in and place our order. They ship it right to us! It's always evident the care they put into packing our orders! I would 100% recommend this hidden treasure! You won't be disappointed!

If youβve ever strolled through Pittsburghβs iconic Strip District, chances are youβve caught a whiff of something rich, bold, and impossibly comforting in the air. That scent? Itβs Prestogeorge β one of the cityβs oldest and most beloved coffee roasters and loose tea specialists. Step inside and you're immediately enveloped by the warm, nutty, slightly sweet aroma of freshly roasted coffee β the kind of smell that instantly makes you feel at home. With over 200 coffees and 300+ teas, it's a paradise for caffeine lovers and curious sippers alike. What makes Prestogeorge so special isn't just the variety β itβs the experience. Picture a cozy specialty market where, instead of grabbing a random bag off the shelf, you talk with an actual coffee or tea connoisseur who helps you explore the flavors and find your perfect match. Once you choose your beans or leaves, theyβll even grind it to your liking. Locally owned and family-run, Prestogeorge is a Strip District staple thatβs all about quality, tradition, and community.
